I put the fruit scraps in a 5 gallon pail to make my tea. My ph is all over and my nutrient value is high. How often do I fertilize as I am using a bubbling system and my plants grow to 6 inches and then die off. I bought a PH, nutrient and a temperature probe meter. Can I just keep adding fertilizer to my water in my system or do I have to keep dumping the water and adding new water and fertilizer all the time? I am totally lost with the fertilizing frequency and amount.

I bought miracle gro Plant food Spikes and they seem to have 6 micro-nutrients, 9 with the main 3. I put one or two in a used prescription pill container and made holes in it, but not too big so the whole thing comes out. Put it in the water and it slowly nourishes the water.
Added Response- Make sure to keep an eye on your plants....there are about 24 different mico-nutrients needed in small quantities by plants, and I would not be surprised if your plants begin showing a trace nutrient deficiency a couple of weeks on. I would be interested in knowing if this technique works out well for you (seriously).
