Is Marijuana a Woody or Soft Tissue Plant ?

by Larry
(Skykomish, Wa)

Is Marijuana a Woody or Soft Tissue Plant? This question refers to the dip-n-grow program.

Answer: Larry- Marijuana is mostly illegal in the US, and I cannot condone violating any laws. The information I provide here is for informational purposes only. If you are a medical marijuana provider, it is your responsibility to make sure you are in compliance with all laws that apply to you in your location.

Marijuana is considered a soft tissue plant when it comes to taking clones from branch tips or along thinner branches. However, older and thicker parts of the plant can be considered woody. A better success rate is usually had by taking cuttings from the thinner, softer parts of plants (1/4 inch or thinner). The physical process of cutting the clone will be easier also. Be sure to check out my cloning page. I include directions for a couple of different methods for starting your clones, as well as many key tips for achieving a 100% survival rate. Happy Growing!
